Measuring the actual exposure of real people in real situations caused by mobile phone networks and other RF sources has been in the focus of the bioelectromagnetics community for quite a few years now. Personal exposimetry, that is; the use of specialized, wearable compact measuring devices is rapidly emerging to be the standard method in this regard. Already, a number of measurement campaigns were performed or are underway [1]. However, various problems, both technical (device limitations [2], handling large amounts of data) and methodological (selection of exposure groups, interpretation of results) signify that the field is still immature. Measuring the exposure of children, one of the most important target groups, introduces further complications., This report summarizes the main points of the exposimetry campaign performed.in Budapest, Hungary in 2009.
