A qualitative research was conducted focused on the context and forms of school violence and their impact on the attitude towards school violence in Romania. The methods used were focus groups and non-directive interviews. The respondents were school counselors, students and teachers from schools placed in high risk town areas of lasi. The results showed slight differences in the causal attributions made by the three groups. But all of them perceived school violence as a clear symptom of a problematic macrosocial context, leading to confusion, social and professional insecurity lack of order and control, weakening of moral values.
