摘要

This study explores the teaching approaches that are used in junior middle school classes and students’ attitudes toward mathematics, and examines whether and to what extent different teaching approaches influence students’ attitudes toward mathematics by analyzing the 1152 cases drawn on the survey and assessment data collected using TIMSS 2007approaches. It found that new teaching approaches that the curriculum reform demand and the traditional ones exist in mathematics classes in Mongolian region at the same time;Students in Mongolian region have positive attitudes toward mathematics;Different teaching approaches make different influences on students’ attitudes toward mathematics.
