摘要

Study of deprotonated lignin model compounds yields predictable fragmentation pathways. High-resolution HPLC/mass spectrometric data can be used to screen for different types of analytes. By pairing HPLC/high-resolution mass spectrometric data with CAD, in-depth structural characterization can be performed for degraded lignin mixtures. The organosolv process degrades native lignin to many small molecules with various functionalities.
