摘要

MAMS is a useful technique given its range of potential applications, while TD-ESI-MS is an ambient and high-throughput technique that can analyze thermally stable, volatile, and polar analytes in solid or liquid states, requiring little or no sample pretreatment. The two techniques were integrated and used to screen plasticizers, melamine, and pesticides in tainted foods; TD-ESI/MAMS is crucial in the progression of ambient and mobile mass spectrometry. However, TD-ESI/MAMS is unable to analyze samples while in motion and needs a stable electrical current. Use of the technique for screening means that detection limits are only around ppm or sub-ppm levels.
