LC-MS~E is able to generate relative but not absolute quantification data that compares well with trends from immunoassay results for six anchor markers. Anchor marker profiles of albumin, β2-microglobin and exosmalfetuin-A differ in DOX and CDDP experiments while cystatin-C and α1-microglobin behave similarly. Several proteins behaved similarly to albumin exhibiting significantly increased urinary concentration after DOX treatment. These proteins, such as serotransferrinand hemopexin, are likely serum leakage markers indicating glomerulardamage. More proteins were identified and quantified in CDDP groups. The presence of the high abundant proteins (e.g. Albumin) due to glomerulardamage may have hindered the detection of the low abundance proteins.
