摘要

No evidence of infection in either the shell or the soft tissues. Nautilin-63 was not detected in the black deposits possibly indicating the reason for shell deformation. Hemocyanin was only detected in the black deposits and soft tissue. The presence of this protein in the black deposit extractions may indicate its inclusion within the shell (possibly causing deformation) or is a result of removal of the individual from the shell. Further testing is ongoing to determine the cause of this shell deformation.
