Determination of Ceftiofur Metabolite Desfuroylceftiofur Cysteine Disulfide (DCCD) in Bovine Plasma by LC-MS/MS

1. A quantitative method for ce ftiofur metabolite DCCD in bovine plasma has been developed and validated. 2. The calibration curve was linear from 10 - 2000 ng/mL. The average accuracy of the new method ranged from 88.5 -100.2%. The CV% ranged from 3.8 - 17.0%. 3. After the last dose, the plasma concentrations peaked at ～ 2 hrs and decreased rapidly and remained quantifiable for up to 48 hrs.
