Non-targeted finger printing and targeted metabolite profiling usinghigh resolution accurate mass spectrometry

摘要

Non-targeted analysis using high resolution accurate mass spectrometer is a powerful solution enabling both targeted and non-targeted metabolomics workflows. Non-targeted workflow allow global profiling. Using MarkerView Software and PCA statistical analysis highlighting features that has p<0.05 and fold change value >2.0. FormulaFinder within PeakView Software enables simultaneous identification & confirmation of metabolites by taking advantage of the high resolution and accurate mass MS and MS/MS information. Hypothesis driven science is a powerful strategy for detecting and monitoring specific metabolites of interest. This is a proof of concept study to built confidence in data analysis and processing strategies. Further data processing and sample analysis using is planned.
