Many approaches exist for on line and off line immuno-affinity enrichment prior to LC-MS/MS analysis. Each approach has their respective advantages, but as say strategy will ultimately determine which method is best suited to answer the question at hand. Whether magnetic beads, antibody columns, or any combination of tools, the immuno-precipitation techniques used to enrich at the protein or peptide level require a multitude of parameter optimizations to achieve the balance between optimal sensitivity, throughput and cost efficiency. This poster will focus on the syste matic optimization of an offline immuno-affinity enrichment as say using amagnetic be adapproach for the quantitation of as mall proteinbio marker.
