Click modified peptides can be fully sequenced. Modifications are retained on y and b ions. CMP's yield characteristic fragments useful for selective detection and confirmation of modification. Two possible purification strategies. The combination of affinity purification and modification-specific MS/MS methods is a promising strategy for detection, identification and sequencing of click-modified peptides in complex mixtures.
