摘要

We utilized an immortalized human PSC line capable of achieving a quiescent phenotype (RLT-PSCs) to study how the secretome of PSCs changes upon activation. Qualitative proteomic analyses were conducted to compare proteins secreted by pancreatic cancer cells and pancreatic stellate cells in the quiescent and activated state. Western blotting and immunohistochemistry were used to verify the presence of secreted proteins, identified by MS. This is the first work to show the differential secretion of proteins by human pancreatic stellate cells in response to activation.
