摘要

Wine is a popular beverage, source of pleasure and benefit for health [1]. Nevertheless, all traditional grape varieties (Vitis vinifera), require from 6 to 12 phytosanitary treatments per year in order to fight against the two main destructive vine grape diseases, Downy-mildew (Plasmopara viticola) and Gray-mold (Botrytis cinerea). The transformation of the pathogen sensitive species into more resistant strain keeping their organoleptic properties seems to be an appropriate alternative to increase level of safety and minimal environmental impact. The understanding of the defense mechanisms of vine at the molecular scale appears to be the key of such approach. In this field, host-pathogen relationship is investigated by metabolic profiling of vine leaves with high-resolution mass spectrometry [2].
