Prenatal mandibular dimensions (mandibular base length, mandibular ramus height, and total mandibular length) and growth from 11 to 26 weeks was studied in normal singleton pregnancies using 3D ultrasound. A linear model was seen to adequately describe the prenatal mandibular growth for all measured variables. Method error (precision) was evaluated by duplicate measurements and was found to be acceptable.
