HL and NHL continue to be significant clinical problems in oncology, but progress in understanding disease biology leading to better classifications and better treatments are cause for hope. Further work is needed, but current improvements in treatment and future agents in development are encouraging. Future progress will rely on continuing scientific and clinical advances, and will reamin a model for rational progress in disease classification and treatment leading to improved outcomes for patients.
