ASSESSMENT OF CHEMICAL TRACE ELEMENTS IN COSMETICS' EYESHADOWS

Among color cosmetics eyeshadows deserve special attention since they are applied in the area where facial skin is thin. Many studies suggest that cosmetics belonging to the eye makeup segment contain high amount of toxic metals. The size of particles used in their production also plays a key factor in safety issues. All may contribute to the increasement of allergic reactions risk or development of other sides effects appearing with their prolonged application [1-2].
