摘要

This works presents two proposed setups to measure the salinity in a water sample. The first one is based on refractometer characteristics of the LPG sensor embedded in water that could be correlated with the salinity. The second configuration is proposed based on the relationship between the salinity and the electrical conductivity to apply a mechanical stress into a LPG sensor attached to a PZT element. The strain applied on the LPG could be analyzed in terms of changes into the coupling resonance conditions between the modes in the optical fiber.
