Problems in the Risk Assessment of Major Hazards

摘要

This paper discusses the shortcomings of the China National Standard Major Hazards Identification and the definition and connotation of major hazards, analyzes the traditional assessment methods and risk-based inspection (RBI) comparatively, and puts forward the general assessment method. Considering the big social outcome resulting from accidents and China's regulations on major hazards construction projects, the authors suggest that the evaluation of major hazards location should be added and reinforced in the risk assessment on major hazards.
