The use of generic surrogate peptides for the quantitative analysis of hIgG1 in pre-clinical species with high-resolution mass spectrometry

A single quantitative LC-HRMS assay using TOF-MRM was developed in rat and monkey serum (1.00-1000 μg/mL) using generic peptides being applicable to pre-clinical dose range finding studies involving hIgG1 and hIgG4 based therapeutic proteins (VVS only). Selectivity improvement due the high resolution: different isotopes of a specific fragment ion can be selected for quantification.
