Preliminary r esults show that methanolic ex tracts of Bromelia rhizome have antibacterial activity. Additionally, 5%>2%> 1% of acetic aci d killed bacteri a as well. MIC deduced with Bromeli a pingui n rhizome was 19.062 mg/ml. In process of identi fying MIC by analyzi ng fragments of INT indicator in bacteria dead vs. alive samples.
