Simultaneous Screening for 4-Hydroxycoumarin and Indanedione Based Rodenticides in Consumer Products Using Liquid Chromatography/ESI-Negative Ion Mass Spectrometry

摘要

This technique provides a simple, fast, sensitive and selective method for the analysis of consumer products that are suspected of being tampered with by adding commercially available rodenticides. It simultaneously screens for the two commonly used classes of rodenticides. namely those that are based on indanedione and 4-hydroxycoumarin. Sample sizes as small as 10 mg could be extracted, which can be important in consumer complaint cases.
