摘要

1.The method developed effectively trapped and separated catechin and epicatechin in blood plasma. We estimate current limits of quantification to be 100 pg/mL. 2.Finalization of method optimization is currently being performed. Full data analysis and method validation will follow, which will be provided to UT Austin for the completion of their study into the effect on physical performance of catechins. 3.In the future, comparison of levels of detection with this method will be performed on the more-sensitive Shimadzu LCMS 8050, to compare the LOD between it and the LCMS 8040, as well as the increase in sensitivity with the new instrument.
