1. inter-experiment result variability within 2D-GE imaging doesn't allow to distinguish control from treatment. 2. ICPL-labeling causes massive pI shift to more acidic pH. 3. LC-MS/MS runs, quantification using extracted ion chromatograms is suitably accurate (RSD about 5percent). 4. ICPL-labeled protein ratios are comparable between different procedures; outliers were also observed. 5. quantification results based on 2D-GE imaging aren't in agreement with results acquired by LC-MS/MS. 6. up to 2 500 Da, major part of ICPL-labeled peptides are observable.
