摘要

The work continues the study of the evolution of model agglomerates using original approach allowing one to obtain burning agglomerates with uniform size and structure. In the present work the burning evolution of ~110-μm agglomerates and monolithic spherical aluminum particles was studied at pressures of 0.6-8 MPa and at a distance from the propellant surface up to 18 cm. Experimental results present data on the size, density, and morphology of quenched/sampled particles, including the resultant oxide particle formed after the full burning-out of aluminum; data on the fragmentation of burning particles; data on the mass fraction of oxide accumulated on and gone from burning particle.
