Welcome to session 29. This session is a departure from the usual afternoon technical seession. It is intended to provide an update on the status andneeds of NDE engineering education as seen by both industry and university people. To accomplishi this update, we have invited six experienced persons from industry and academia to give us their insights into this matter and to serve as panelists in a following question and answer session with audience participation.
