This paper describes the design of sensor system, which makes Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) detect their skill, for airway management training. Many EMT make inner skin or tissue traumatized due to unskilled, incautious, careless operation during airway management. Many companies have developed airway management mannequins, which have realistic anatomy, tissue, and skin. However, because there are no devices to detect applied force in the mannequins, it is difficult to recognize quantitative information about how trainees are performing the task. In this paper, the sensor system will be described as well as the way sensor were placed in different configurations to detect the force applied by trainee.
