Childhood Injury and Injury Prevention in Japan

摘要

Injury is the leading cause of death in children since 1960. This paper describes the data of childhood injury in Japan. The activities of injury prevention is few. To save children, systematic preventive approach should be organized. At first injury surveillance should be established at the hospital emergency room.
