PERFORMANCE PV FRANCE 2005-2015, A FRENCH NATIONAL PROGRAM ON THE PERFORMANCES OF PHOTOVOLTAICS

The European research program PV Performance is an integrated project of the FP6. Its main issue is to address the problem of the performances of photovoltaics. In PV performance, the French contribution is a small part of the total budget and a very few French institutes are involved in the project. It has been decided to promote a national research program on the same topic, Performance PV France, in order to allow the French photovoltaic community to stay in contact with the best manufacturers and laboratories in Europe. A first phase, funded in part by the French National Agency for Research ANR, includes the main partners of the photovoltaic research and industry in France and addresses a few topics during the years 2005-2007. The next phases will complete and extend the program with new tasks and additional partners.
