Molecular crystal structures from powder X-ray diffraction techniques

摘要

This paper presents an overview of the genetic algorithm technique for structure solution from powder diffraction data, and gives a number of examples that illustrate the application of this technique to solve crystal structures of different types of molecular solids, including oligopeptides and multi-component co-crystals.
