Left and Right Inverse Eigenvalue Problem for Reflexive Matrices

In this paper, the necessary and sufficient conditions of the left and right inverse eigenvalue problem for reflexive matrices are discussed. The general representation of such a solution is presented. We show that the optimal approximation solution is unique and provide an expression for the nearest matrices.
