摘要

The publication describes the recent SME work on pyrazole derivatives. The pyrazole compounds are promising as new low sensitivity energetic materials, due to the pyrazole scaffold, which offers numerous synthetic possibilities together with a relatively high heat of formation. Therefore, several members of the nitropyrazole series were synthesised and the more promising out of these were characterised.
