摘要

The ion-specific NRTL parameters were applied to correlate the binary activity coefficient data of aqueous electrolytes with the electrolyte-NRTL model for developing an activity coefficient model for aqueous mixed electrolyte and mixed solvent systems. The parameters were useful to predict the activity coefficients of electrolytes in aqueous mixed electrolyte and mixed solvent systems without using additional parameters. A variety of inorganic solubility in the aqueous mixed electrolyte and mixed solvent systems were correlated and predicted. The prediction showed that the resultant NRTL parameters suitably represented phase equilibria of inorganic salts required for the design of crystallization processes.
