摘要

The increasing concern of particulate matter (PM) on human health has created a need to measure not only the mass concentration of particles but also the size distribution of the fine particles. The objective of this paper is real-time measurements of the diesel particulate matter using a portable electrical low pressure impactor(P-ELI). First, we designed and performed evaluation of the P-ELI using an electrical method. Then, the tests were performed on a Common-rail DI diesel engine to measure exhausted particulate matter. We measured particulate matter at various engine operating conditions. When the total injection quantities were divided into the ratio of 25-75, 50-50 and 75-25%, PM were measured on the condition of same torque by increasing dwell angles.
