Event branch is proposed to solve the problem that the test stimulus sequences generated by measuring instrument can be improved by external input control signal, and the realization of receiving and storing the test response sequences automatically, which has important signification in microprocessor's simulation and digital system fault diagnosis. Event branch, which is each external input control signal serve as one event branch, system will export difference test stimulus sequences to UUT (Unit Under Test) after difference event branches have happened, and the test stimulus sequences exported each time reflect the structural character of UUT. The event branch controller and the SRAM controller are designed with advanced FPGA technology to implement this function in VXI bus 128 Channels Digital Stimulus & Response Module. The design of event branch controller and SRAM controller are discussed in detail in this article.
