The current trend in the processing of Satellite Imagery focuses on the use of fully automated methods and algorithms. This is caused by routine nature of processing significant amounts of satellite imagery data of large areas regularly obtained for the same geographical area at different time without a specially trained operator. The report discusses problems and ways of overcoming connected with the use and processing of satellite imagery data obtained by the Russian spacecraft "Kanopus-B" and the Belarusian spacecraft for the task of automatic detection of Earth surface changes. The developed methods of automatic detection of any type of changes and a multispectral-brightness description of their features in the optical range of a different-time space survey are considered. The implemented new approaches and solutions showed their stability and sufficient efficiency in solving problems of detection and analysis of changes in ground objects. A distinctive feature of the developed technology is the automation of almost all processes and high productivity.
