This paper explores rich dynamics of quasi-satellite orbits (QSOs) with out-of-plane motions in the Earth-Moon and Mars-Phobos spatial circular restricted three-body problems. The first part of the paper shows the role of L_4 and L_5 axial orbits as dynamical gateways into spatial QSOs. As an application, we show that a spacecraft can achieve a ballistic transport between a QSO and a tadpole orbit by following stable and unstable manifolds of L .i and Ls axial orbits. The second part reveals spatial families of stable and unstable periodic QSOs via bifurcation analyses. Based on phase-space structures of invariant manifolds emanating from spatial unstable periodic QSOs, we develop a method of finding spatial long-term stable quasi-periodic QSOs. This paper proposes the use of spatial unstable periodic QSOs with weak instabilities to observe the Moon and the Phobos, and a ballistic landing option to the surface of the Phobosv by using unstable manifolds emanating from spatial unstable periodic QSOs. The third part generates spatial regular long-term stable quasi-periodic QSOs as invariant tori around a planar stable periodic QSO.
