Health Service Provision To the HIV/AIDS patient in the North West Province of South Africa

The Potchefstroom University focus its research and community service on HIV/AIDS patients in the North West Province in South Africa where the HIV prevalence is still rising. The main focus is on health service provision in the community with areas of concern: Comprehensive health care provision; subordination of Tswana women and HIV risk; choice of baby-feeding; the family in home based care for debilitated HIV/Aids patients in the mining community; and intrapartum practices.
