INNOVATIVE PIEZOELECTRIC TRANSFORMERS: APPLICATIONS OF QUASI-MODAL ACTUATOR AND WAVE PROPAGATION CONCEPTS

摘要

An innovative perspective and newly developed theoretical modeling that incorporates balanced electric and mechanical aspects of piezoelectric transformers were proposed in this article. With the mechanical properties of piezoelectric transformer being incorporated into the newly developed theoretical model for the first time, many innovative features that can significantly enhance the performance of piezoelectric transformers. For example, a series of quasi-modal piezoelectric transformers featured of higher efficiency are introduced in this article.
