A CONSIDERATION ON HYDRAULIC FEATURES OF OPEN-CHANNEL FLOW WITH A VEGETATIVE EMBAYMENT

摘要

This paper reports the features on the local hydraulic phenomena of flows around a vegetative embayment with vegetative-spit, which is made of vegetations as a part of river training works. The experiments on the basis of the PIV-technique were carried out for the submerged and the non-submerged vegetative embayment, and the numerical analyses using the modified k-ε turbulence model as well.
