A study on the resource-task dispatching policy in the implementation process of research and development projects

Research and development(R&D) project risk can be greatly reduced through effective control of resource, therefore in this way project progress could be strictly controlled. This will concern the effective allocation and dispatching of resources. This study proposes a risk reduction policy for R&D project through effective resource allocation. A resource dispatching algorithm that ranks tasks in sequence of their risk degrees, and considers the present load of R&D departments is proposed. The performance of the algorithm is demonstrated through a numerical example.
