摘要

The paper deals with the identification of nonlinear MDOF systems using impact excitation. A general theory based on the Voiterra-model is introduced for structures with a discrete number of masses, springs and dampers. This allows to identify the nonlinear force acting on each degree of freedom. In certain particular cases, it is possible to localize the nonlinear element accurately. Moreover, the behaviour of the system can be simulated by using the identified parameters of the nonlinear restoring force function. The ability to extend the presented method to continuous structures is studied, opening new horizons but remembering the different limits: numerical dynamic, simultaneous measurement techniques, energy distribution of excitation.
