The Development and Application of Al_2O_3-SiC-C Bricks for Torpedo Car in China

摘要

With the challenge of clearing steel production and increasing of the productivity of converter, the application of hot metal pretreatment technology in torpedo car become a key process in the steelmaking. In this article, the technologies, production and development trend of A1_2O_3-SiC-C bricks for torpedo cars in China are reviewed, the current application situation and main requirements for the A1_2O_3-SiC-C bricks are also addressed.
