The uniformity principle of temperature gradient field used in bionic optimization method is proved by variational calculus. The analytical solution of the volume-to-point problem also shows that the more uniform the temperature gradient field, the higher the performance of the heat conduction optimization. Uniformity principles widely exist in transport phenomena in nature. Considering random factors also affect the evolution process in nature, a probabilistic rule is developed to improve the bionic optimization method for heat conduction optimization, which could construct a branched pattern more close to the natural shape. The reason for the formation of branch-like construct is that the uniformity principle of gradient field possessed an instability that amplifies any small irregularities, causing them to extend into branches.
