Ni-Catalyzed Addition of Dimethylzinc to Aldehydes Across Alkynes and Conjugate Dienes

摘要

In the presence of Ni(acac)_2 catalyst,the four-component connection reaction of Me_2Zn,alkynes,1,3-butadiene,and aldehydes takes place in this order in a 1:1:1:1 ratio to furnish (3E,6E)-octadien-l-ols with excellent stereoselectivity and in good yields.The reaction proceeds at room temperature,tolerates an ester,a hydroxy,and an amino functionality,and accommodates a variety of aromatic and aliphatic alkynes and aldehydes.
