摘要

Consider a real signal which is sampled at a uniform sampling period T to give a set of 2n data points {x(0),x(T),x(2T),....x([2n-l]T)}.The main purpose of this paper is to present a method of fitting these data points to a curve which is composed of n exponential functions with unknown weightings and exponents in detail, First, the theoretical develop of a sum of n exponential functions is described step by step. Second, according to the theory, we take x(t) as the impulse response of a linear time-invariant system as an example, Finally, the simulation results are present to implement that the new method is quite reasonable for this study.
