Methods: A 22 year old white female was referred to our Department for persistent headache and a sudden decrease of vision in both eyes. She underwent a complete ophthalmic examination that showed a best corrected visual acuity of hand motion in OU, normal intraocular pressure and normal slit lamp examination of the anterior segment; while the fundus examination revealed a bilateral optic disc swelling.
