Synthesis of fine particle Y/sub 2/O/sub 2/S:Eu phosphors by sulfurization of Y/sub 2/O/sub 3/:EU prepared by citric-acid-gel method

In this paper, we report our study on the synthesis of sub micron size yttrium-europium oxisulfide including pre-annealing. The obtained products were characterized by measurements of X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy and also cathodoluminescent properties were measured.
