Hierarchical proficiency evaluation system of plant operation for effective operator training

摘要

We have developed a new method to evaluate plant operators' proficiency. In this method, an operating procedure is hierarchically analyzed so that the method can be applied to complicated operations. Furthermore, the method was evaluated with indices based on Levenshtein distance. The proposed method was applied to simulator training on the startup operation of a distillation column. The results demonstrate the utility and effectiveness of the proposed method.
