Chemical processes of the condensed combustion in systems Al - ZrO_2 - C and Al -ZrSiO_4 - C, systems were studied, dependences of the properties of synthesis products on conditions were determined SHS. The increasing volumes of metalwork, development of the power and high-temperature technologies requiring the use of materials with high indexes of hardness and melting temperature have necessitated the creation of new cerftmic materials. Ceramic composites on the basis of zircomum and its compounds are known as a promising construction material which is used in mechanical engineering, radio electronics, chemical and aerospace industry. In addition, composite materials based on zirconium carbide, apart from the mentioned properties, has a high resistance to corrosion in aggressive media[l].
