Fatty Acid Selections in Aluminum Complex Greases

摘要

This study explored the formation of aluminum complex greases with various fatty acids carrying C12 to C22 carbon chains. Paraffinic oil, naphthenic oil, alkyl naphthalene and polyalphaolefin (PAO) were thickened with aluminum complex thickener with six different fatty acids.
